Does anyone ever file insurance claims for damage caused by the monsters?

I wouldn't want to be in the insurance industry in the universe where these monsters run rampant. Same idea for superhero movies too. Should we just assume there is no insurance for anything in the world of these movies?

If there is insurance, monthly payments must be REALLY high.

I think building insurance might cover such damages, so does life insurance.

No, these insurance policies have exceptions for Acts of God.
