Did they explain the technology...

Well done humans for some serious tech advancement.

We got anti gravity and stuff. Can’t remember it being explained in the movie.

reply

There's a giant lizard and monkey, but you're bothered by the sci fi aspect of humanity in this movie?

reply

Yes man, that interests me more. The animals have been explained in previous movies.

reply

You're more interested in the tech than watching the monsters fight?

reply

Just the backstory of the tech, some of us like that stuff

reply

Yea the movie seemed to just be following Toho in regards to technology. Like the Super X hover cr aft etc. When I see godzilla King of the monsters and this dGodzilla vs Kong I pretty much just assume this is like happening 10 to 15 years in the future and that some kind of break through had happened to advance technology.

reply

The previous poster is ignoring established lore for Godzilla, Kong and all the other Titan monsters that originated from Hollow Earth. The point is that Giant Lizard and Monkey origins are explained but super advanced near alien tech is not. Gravity ships, underground bullet speed shipping from Florida to Hong Kong, Mecha.fucking.Godzilla! Why build it equal size to Godzilla? Why not bigger, especially with that "infinite power source" LOL.
There's so much bullshit with technology in this movie.

reply

animals of varying sizes exist in nature, anti gravity spaceship cars do not

reply

"anti gravity spaceship cars do not"

Neither do Kong, Godzilla, MUTOS, and the dozen other monsters we've seen in these movies.

reply

they are all animals, moron

reply

"Giant fictional nuclear animals, I can accept. Advanced human technology? That's a no from me."

Do you hear yourself?

reply

fake quotes, faggot

reply

No shit, LOL. Are you really this stupid? That is your argument though. Giant animals that do not and cannot exist = acceptable. Humans with technology that doesn't exist? Nope, nope, nope. You are MORON.

reply

fuck you asshole

reply

Are you mentally handicapped? If so, tell me, and I won't argue with you.

reply

He is already telling you.

reply

Basically recreate Power Source via the internet.
Just download more RAM, amirite? Ahahahha

reply

This part was pretty funny. We just need to copy the energy's signature via the web no need to take the super power charged item back.

reply

And that vehicle that was strong enough to withstand the absolutely crushing pressure that would come with a journey to the center of the earth, yet Kong can still instantly squish it with one hand.

reply

Kong seemed to have fluctuated power levels here. He really struggled with his chains.

reply

You're right to a point, but he was drugged, remember? Before he's released, you can even see on the back of his collar that there's some kind of viles or large containers attached to the collar; which I assume were administering the drugs.

reply

Could be, good spot

reply

this one is easier to explain imho. When HEAVs are preparing to enter the gravity switch portals they activated their anti-gravity shields which made the whole vehicle glow blue. It is assumed that it consumes a lot of energy, so it is only used for crossing over, hence when Kong crushed them they didnt have the shields ON.

reply

Nice catch!

reply

What was weird here is that MIlly bobby and her father was in the previous movie and none of this tech existed.

So in 3 years we got awesome future tech etc...

reply

They pulled the tech from a plot hole.

reply

How do you know it didn't exist?
