Would this have done well under normal circumstances

Reason I say that is because King Of the Monsters largely underperformed in comparison to how the 2014 film did. I don't think it would've done better than that film but it might've improved its numbers over King Of The Monsters if they marketed the hell out of it. No question it'll be a huge hit on streaming though.

i think it could have been a major event, just by association with the names king kong and godzilla. the trailer should have been edited tighter, shorter and had some heavier rap or rock song or both.
