Enjoyable, But In Bruges is superior. Also similarities to In Bruges

Very similar in style and themes to In Bruges, but I think In Bruges is such a perfect little movie, that captures a realistic quirkiness, with comedy and a dark nature but with beauty too that I think it is an all time classic, whereas 3 Billboards doesn't quite reach those heights.

Anyhow, some similarities between the two movies...

1. Midgets being pivotal.

2.- Swings.

3.- Overly comic moments that really threaten to take you out of the realism, but are probably just about okay...In 3 Billboards the 'needing to pee' scene diffusing a Very tense scene, in In Bruges the guys agreeing to start their chase outside of the woman's house they are in.
