how is it that Dixon was never arrested?
He only lost his job, but he really should have been put in jail for that.
I thought the same thing. I really liked this movie but considering his assault and battery took place right in front of the new chief I wasn't sure how he wasn't placed under arrest. Maybe it's supposed to be chalked up to just the way things work in a small town.
