Was anyone else disappointed that this show isn't like Awkward Black Girl?

It's not as funny or relatable as Issa Rae's Awkward Black Girl. It seems like the story is no different than any other show I've seen of romantic entanglements/affairs/love triangles. It doesn't really stand out to me.

Insecure still lasted 5 seasons though---it was popular enough to gain a following that could relate to it. I've only seen one or two episodes of it, and I ended up laughing so damn hard at it, I wouldn't mind seeing the rest of the series. I liked Awkward Black Girl too, but both shows are completely different.
