Just watched the first episode on HBOnow. So good and smart and Miss Issa is gorgeous. There is nothing on tv right now like it. I watched all of Season 3 of Transparent last night and for some reason Ep 1 of Insecure fits right in with that show to me. If you like Transparent - and it's heart and brain - you should check this show out. Can't wait for the rest of the season in October. Good job, Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore.

You should check out Loosely Exactly Nichole on MTV. Its really funny as well. She's an unemployed black actress in Hollywood with a gay enabling friend, and another who's a Debbie Downer.

I agree! I just watched it on HBO OnDemand and I really enjoyed it. Issa's so funny and a real delight to watch.
