and do you think his past situation makes him gay?
I don't think it makes him gay and I wouldn't cut him off; I respect his honesty. My thing is, if you do think it's gay does it work vice versa? I felt like her friends statement about women getting a pass but not men was ridiculous.
Not ridiculous at all. Yes it's a double standard but that's the way it is. A guy (even if it's just oral sex) Having sex with a guy is just looked at differently a surrendering of your manhood. 2 girls going at it actually turns many guys on. I'm not saying these women don't exist but I have never met a straight woman that is turned on by 2 guys going at it.
As for Jared's specific situation. Umm I wouldn't declare him gay but that was absolutely a gay moment. It would be different if he was fooled by a tranny or something but he went into that situation knowing full well that was another guy. I don't know.
Very nice to meet you. LOL , I highly doubt there are many of you but whatever. Seriously, If you happened to stumble upon a gay porn , that would turn you on? Another scenario if you and your man were swingers and your man was bisexual, You'd actually get aroused by watching him getting penetrated? Again I disagree, If the answers to those questions are "yes" You're a rare breed.
Seriously, If you happened to stumble upon a gay porn , that would turn you on?
I don't seek out guy-on-guy porn, but I have stumbled upon some and the answer is hells yes ๎
As for my hypothetical guy, I'm not a swinger, so I can't say I would be into seeing him with a guy or another girl. But when it comes to penetration, there are straight women who like to give and straight men who like to receive. It's called pegging, and it doesn't make the recipient gay or less of a man...
There are plenty of straight women who enjoy the idea of two dudes together btw. Just check out Tumblr.

You don't think pegging is "homosexual activity"? You got to ask yourself how does a "straight" male get to the point where they'd want to be pegged or even enjoy it. We'll just agree to disagree on this one. If we were to take a poll can catch people off the record whereas they'd give their honest opinion and not just say what they think is politically correct, I'm willing to bet the house on the fact that the overwhelming majority of straight women are like Molly and uncomfortable with the idea of their man being gay or having a gay past.
I know you don't seek out guy on guy porn hence why I said if you'd happen to "stumble upon" gay porn. Women like molly are in the majority. I'm sure on tumblr and other websites there are people into golden showers as well. I still don't think it's a stretch to say that represents a Very small segment of the population. Majority aren't into that. Likewise I think same is true for women enjoying guy on guy.
Pegging isn't a "homosexual activity". Believe it or not, the gays don't have a monopoly on ass play ๎ฆ And the prostate is like a male G-spot. I don't think that's up for debate, it's actual biology.
I know there are a lot of Mollys out there, who have been conditioned to see certain acts as submissive, and therefore feminine. So a guy on the receiving end of certain acts can't be masculine. But I also know there are a lot of Abis and Ilanas, who try to be more open-minded.
"What race are you? If you don't tell me I'll just...assume the worst."
Getting Penetrated is homosexual activity. Just because the prostate just happens to be close to the anus, doesn't mean you supposed to go down the poop chute. It's "biology" that urine contains a compound that is known to get rid of acne. I don't think because of that happenstance you can then conclude that you supposed to let guys pee on your face. You're right gays don't have a monopoly but it's safe to say they own about 95% of the ass play shares.๐
Key word in what you said is "try". Yes in today's PC climate more and more people are trying to normalize strange fetishes and are more open minded about it but they're still in the great minority. Whole point is, that is a double standard. It's just the way it is. Much like the idea of a man with alot of women = playa , woman sleeps with alot of dudes = slut. Double standard? Yes & yes in today's climate with efforts of people like the Kardashians an Amber rose there is a "movement" to try and change that way of thinking but for the overwhelming majority. That double standard is still in play. Woman with girl on girl past = Doesn't bother majority of men. Guy with Man on man past = Bothers majority of women.
So a man having sex with his girlfriend- particularly anal sex- is participating in homosexual activity?
It's "biology" that urine contains a compound that is known to get rid of acne. I don't think because of that happenstance you can then conclude that you supposed to let guys pee on your face.
False equivalence. The enjoyment a man or woman might get from peeing on someone is psychological, not physical.
You're right gays don't have a monopoly but it's safe to say they own about 95% of the ass play shares.๐
That's a sweeping generalization, and therefore unsafe.
As for the anti slut-shaming movement, that started long before Kim Kardashian or Amber Rose, thank god. Feminists would be fcked if we pinned our message on famous people.
It's not political correctness to challenge double standards (a woman is a slut for having lots of sex/a man is gay for indulging in pegging). It's an attempt to evolve our thinking.

Yep, When a man is the one being penetrated Yes. Pegging is gay. ridiculously suspect. Again you have to ask yourself how does a straight man get to that point whereas he wants and enjoys being penetrated. Man having anal sex with his girl.... I would say if a man gets to a point whereas he needs that to get off and he's turned off by vaginal sex and prefers anal... That's ridiculously suspect. Let me back up a tad. If a man let's a woman peg him. I won't say he's 100% gay but you're right there about halfway through the "gay" entrance. Once you get to the point as a man you enjoy getting anally penetrated, that psychological barrier that would stop you from allowing a man to one day do it to you is all but torn down.

Ok, Fine. There are natural nerve endings and parts of your body that if stimulated will give you a sensation. Again that isn't an indication it is to be done or it's natural. I once saw this sick clip (I believe on Worldstar) where these teens in Nicaragua were having sex with Hens. I'm sure as sick as it is , they were getting sexual gratification from it. I don't think a biological case can be made that man is supposed to have sex with hens because it feels good.
I understand the anti-slut shaming didn't begin with them, my point was those are the modern faces of the movement now. What i'm saying (not sure how we got into all this to begin with) Those double Standards are Still very much in play in today's society. Those who seek to challenge those are in the minority. Getting back to original point. Majority of women would be like Molly and be uncomfortable with it even though that was a "one off" type thing. I believe it's because he knowingly made the decision to be with a man. It makes people feel uncomfortable because the thinking is "he may choose to do it again" ie anal sex. VERY FEW women I know , enjoyed anal the first time. Jered may not have enjoyed the gay moment he had but.... We'll agree to disagree. In my book pegging is absolutely gay and I don't think trying to change that way of thinking is a good thing. JMO, i'm sure you disagree.
Once you get to the point as a man you enjoy getting anally penetrated, that psychological barrier that would stop you from allowing a man to one day do it to you is all but torn down.
I didn't realise I was talking to a certified sexologist here. Tell me, is homosexuality contagious? Is every straight man just one experiment away from deciding to be gay?
"What race are you? If you don't tell me I'll just...assume the worst." reply share
Lol, Neither one of us is certified just giving our opinions. Stop that, I'm not saying "all or Every" anything. Not speaking in absolutes. There's always exceptions to any rule. like you for example , a straight woman who is turned on by gay men getting it in. lol
Again I would have to reread the whole thread because i'm not even sure how we got here. My simple point was the overwhelming majority of women I know (even those who are supportive of homosexuality) are like molly and would have a problem with their man having a gay past. You'd be the only person I know (if I had met you personally) that would be 100% unmoved by a man's gay past or be 100% ok with pegging a man and not think he may be gay.
As for your sarcastic question, Personally I do not believe anyone is born gay, it's psychological. Of course I don't believe all straight men are "one experiment away" but given the right crazy environment. Many are subject to engaging in homosexual behavior. We see it all the time in Prison. Once a person is willing to breakdown the psychological barriers that would normally prevent you from the very thought of engaging in homosexuality, you will enjoy physical interaction.
I don't think the character Jered is gay, but I do understand a woman feeling uncomfortable and may feel he is because again he made that conscious decision to experiment. It'll be like if a man admitted to you he considered raping this girl he knew but decided against it. Is that dude a rapist? No. But I can understand you being uncomfortable and concerned that if he was at one point strongly considering it , he may very well do it one day.
Lol @ gif. There's no scientific proof of it being so. All the supposed "scientific evidence" has all been either done by gays themselves or financed by gay organizations. That "born this way" nonsense is a clear case of repeating a lie over & over until it becomes Truth. We're at the point of no return with this political correctness anyhow. Let's say me and you were the worlds top scientist. We develop a surefire method to lay this issue to rest once and for all. We then conduct an unbiased , honest test. To our surprise the data clearly shows a person is Not born that way and it's psychological disorder. Let me ask you, Would people A) accept those clear findings and that will end the argument or B) would we somehow be declared the world's biggest "homophobes" and people would not rest until they find a way to debunk our findings? We both know answer would be B. Go ahead research any "proof" of anyone "born gay" and see if you find anything definitive. All you will find is obvious biased conjecture. Concept was made up by Marshall Kirk and Dr. Hunter Madsen in 1985.

Jared is bi-sexual. Period. If he was sexually aroused by another man (especially to the point where he allowed sexual contact), he is bi-sexual. That doesn't mean she shouldn't give him a chance. But, I also don't fault her if she can't handle it. She is not secure enough to handle the potential threat of other women AND men.
It depends though. Sexuality can change throughout a person's life. Jared said he didn't feel that way anymore (If I'm remembering correctly), so he would have been bisexual back then if he were into it, but he certainly isn't now if that's how he identifies in the present.
Like Jered said he tried it and didn't like it...it wasn't even an ongoing thing and then he found out it wasn't for him, he had ONE occurrence where he wasn't even the one giving he was just receiving and then never did it again. I wouldn't call him bisexual or someone that Molly would have to be necessarily worried about in terms of men. Now if Molly didn't feel comfortable I don't fault her for that at all but I wouldn't be calling Jered a bisexual man especially when he clearly doesn't identify himself as that.
You know the entire thing i think is about trust. it does not matter who he did it with. if it was a woman or man. if it was his first love and that love being a woman, molly could still be threatened. she could be threatened by if she comes back. so it is a very touchy subject. i think it is about trust and not homosexuality if we look at it that way.
I am not sure that we can conclude that Jared was aroused by another man. He could have been aroused at the possibility of fellatio and it being performed by a male was opportunistic. It is unlikely that he is bi-sexual if he does not have a pattern of being or state that he is attracted to males. He did not even state that he was attracted to the guy that performed the fellatio, they were hanging out. The other guy may have initiated and it is possible that Jared detached from the person and only focused on the mouth that was pleasuring him. Sometimes we make love (focus on the whole person) and sometimes we just *beep* (focus on getting pleasure).
Yeah, I guess there's a slight double standard. If he's not gay and hasn't done anything since maybe he shouldn't have admitted it since some girls have an issue with it. Still, he admitted it and she rejected him for it, so maybe it shows Molly isn't the right woman for him.
I definitely would NOT have dumped Jared for his one wild adventure in college. He is a sweet, honest guy so far..sexy as hell too? They were opening up with each other and that should've counted for something. She blew it..she has issues.insecurity and commitment issues!
Yeah! as i further read this post. because he is so honest. a man who seems to be very family oriented. imagine if you have a family with someone like this and he puts that first. maybe it's not about homosexuality at all. maybe it is about trust. it is difficult for a black woman especially to trust a black man.
People sexually experiment, he's not gay, he tried something once, and decided it wasn't for him and never did it again. He's not gay or bisexual. I think any woman who would be bothered that a man got his dick sucked by another man 15 years ago in college is really messed up
Finally some sobriety here. Yes, Jared is not gay at all, he was just exploring his sexuality. I was shocked with Molly's homophobia. I couldn't believe she dumped him because of that when she had the same experince when she made out with a girl when she was in college.
You are bisexual if you like both men and women, when the gender isn't the focus but the person. Jered tried it and it wasn't for him and now only lays with women. Did he experiment? Yes. But experimenting does not make you anything. It makes you bisexual in the moment, but not beyond that moment if you go back to being purely heterosexual. I think the main point was the labels can be destructive and simplistic.
I wouldn't have dumped him. It was one incident, years ago, and he said he didn't feel sexually attractive to men.
I will freely admit that I wouldn't date a bisexual man though. I would always feel inadequate, as if there was something that it would be purely impossible to give to my partner. But I don't think Jerod is bisexual so again I wouldn't have dumped him.
Molly's an idiot. With each passing episode I'm starting to dislike her more and more.
Under the circumstances no, I wouldn't consider him gay, and wouldn't cut him off. However, if he had actually done a sexual act with another dude ( wink wink- y'all know what I mean) I would probably have a hard time overlooking that. Receiving a blow job from a guy while drunk and a long time ago is an excusable act in my book.
I would have to cut him off. It is a horrible double standard yes, but I wouldn't be able to get over it. I'd be too suspicious and paranoid that he'd be on the DL.
The sad part is that because of your view, you are more likely to be deceived by someone who is actually on the DL because you would never be suspicious of them. They would probably never disclose something like this or have this level of honesty. That's why they are DL, because their behavior is not known.
