Although i wasnt happy the main story stopped, I think this episode gave much needed backstory to tulip and jesse. I Loved it. The montage of their monotony was interesting.

Did we really need more backstory showing how loathsome Tulip is though?

this. I mean we get it Tulip is a horrible person there was no need to spend an entire episode reiterating that.

But, umm.. "girl power". Tulip's a uhh... strong, independent woman and she's a role model... and uh.. yeah. You're all a bunch of white cisgendered straight male sexist homophobes.

I didn't hate it and agree the montage was well done.. i thought it was interesting to see a bit of background to the characters.
