New Title Should Be: Need for Speed Most Wanted - AmBROmance

Pretty much what this was. More arcade Fast & Furious car chasing than bank robbing and planning. Even the cop cars were revving their engines as if they're race vehicles. You'll notice a lot of fast drone cam filming with quick snap turns.

It started off with a desperate need for a loan then goes off with a bang before I got bored halfway through the 2 hr movie with all the never ending cop chasing where they keep driving up close and personal only to get wrecked hard. I love cop car chases but this was dragged out too long (with no spike strips or road blocks? c'mon!). So much incompetence coming from these gungho Special Investigation Section goon crime unit. No sane cop would just keep trashing themselves and flying terror flybys to keep antagonizing and intimidating suspects with an injured officer in the vehicle. It was more a miracle the cop survived at all from all that blood loss and manual operation from an inexperienced EMT.

As usual Michael Bay needs a hot slutty looking chick front and center but instead of Megan Fox they got Eiza Gonzales. Jake's character Danny was over the top as well. Always yelling and crazy eyed and into conflict with either his hit team or brother Will.

The thing that irked me the most was them robbing a bank with NO FRIGGIN face masks (only Will had one), only to put them on AFTER the robbery for some frickin' reason I don't get. Then the whole original hit team all get owned after coming out of the bank with only Danny and Will surviving. Talk about a poor hit job with Danny whose had a notorious legendary robber of a father to his own record of double digit bank robberies. Must be all those progressive policies in California that keep letting him back out 🤣😂.

Other parts that made me roll my eyes that I could recall was them keeping the ambulance light bar flashing while trying to hide in between alleyways when helicopters above are searching for them. The other is painting the ambulance a shoddy green to try to throw off the cops which apparently it did because they made it to the hospital before being cornered.

There is a tiny bit of woke stuff they needed forced/quota'd in like the FBI agent (Anson) gay kissing his partner and if I recall, some woke trash talk between that chubby CSI chick (Lt. Dhazghig) and the Special Investigation Section leader (Cpt. Monroe). Another is the strong woman EMT Cam shoving the armored SWAT men out the way to get to Will and save him. No way SIS goon squad and Zach's partner would let her near him as they clearly wanted to see him die a slow death after what the brothers did to the SIS leader and Zach himself. Nothing really outstanding so it is passable.

In the end they lost all the money except that 1 small sealed plastic wrapped bag of money. Not sure how much each bag contains but I assume $500k or less.

The speakers in my theater must've sucked because part of the sound came more strongly from the left than balanced out for each side and the gun fire sounded shoddy at best. If anything I say give this movie a pass and watch Den of Thieves instead, much more entertaining.

PS: I saw Fauci graffiti on one of the walls. he was giving a thumbs up I think, there were two of them.
