Times Square in the 70s just might have been the sleaziest neighborhood on earth EVER, perhaps only matched by Berlin in the early 30s.
Hopefully this show will deliver the goods...AND I hope it's not afraid to get down and dirty, either.

shareI just watched and loved it... Im a 70s girl so all the references and the movies on the marque are very true to life.. The director spoke at the end of the pilot. She said they had to go to Washington Heights to remake the gritty streets of Times Square since its all cleaned up now (Thank God) All the prices on the menus are real to that time period, etc.
