Garrison Colorado?
I dont believe there is a Garrison Colorado. The picture of the town in the opening credits looks to be in the San Juan Mountain range. Anyone know where that picture was taken? Lake City maybe? Or maybe not in Colorado...

OMG! You mean a fictional show made up a fictional town? Next thing you'll say is Petticoat Junction, Mayberry and Charming were made up towns to! 😉
shareThere's a Gunnison, CO. But like the other post said, the town shown in the opening credits is Ouray, CO.
They make a lot of references to Telluride as well. There was mentions of Norwood, another real town near Telluride. In one episode they say they're about 30 miles from Telluride. The last episode mentioned the Animas River spill in Durango.
The fictional town obviously is near that southwest area of Colorado in the San Juan Mountains but also in the flat ranch areas. There's an area called Loghill Village that's close to the mountains but has flat ranch land.
I know Gunnison well. I know the pass from Silverton to Ouray as well. I know the pass from Durango to Silverton. Skied Telluride as a kid.. Hell I am fishing the Conjoes river as a religion from Platoro. I knew I seen that town before on the opening credits.. I should have known it was Ouray.
Thank you
Pictures may be ouray, but feels so much like lake city, Colorado. Even the bar looks like packers. The spill was talked about in lake city too.
