It is a good film. I was not completely sold with Nicole Kidman as Lucille Ball, but she did a good job. Javier Bardem was brilliant.

I love period pieces, and Aaron Sorkin did a good job with this film. His schtick of back and forth quick cuts of characters debating/arguing is annoying, but the rest of the film was well executed.

I plan to watch I Love Lucy in future, and this was a nice forerunner/warm-up.

Agreed. Good film, much better than the critics are saying.
