I'm sure that there are many examples, but a recent one is The Master (2013) which has several such scenes, one with Amy Adams and Philip Seymour Hoffman that's considerably more graphic than the scene in Moonlight. Adams, Seymour Hoffamn, and Joaquin Phoenix were all Nom'd by the Academy.
