why didnt the Doc say his name?
she could have survive.
shareBecause he was squeezing the life out of her and she couldnt speak.
sharebefore that she could have done it as he appeared
sharewell she was delirious from earlier so....
shareYet had the time and energy to scribble up his full name on the desk, LOL.
shareShe should have said it when she found the girl locked in the closet before he gassed her. Obviously the situation was out of control at that point, she should've pulled out the big guns right then.
shareShe tried to but she was too drugged up.
shareThis killed the movie for me.
sharePeople panic is situations like that and do stupid things, or avoid doing the things that could save them.
shareOr she could have went to the bathroom and called the cops from there. Or told someone she was going to see her troubled patient. Or just phoned her patient instead of going to see him alone. Not so bright.
shareExactly.
First of all she goes to an underground isolated location without having the cabby wait or telling anyone where she was going... then she suspects someone might be in those rooms and instead of calmly leaving and sending help... she opens a door... stands there paralyzed with fear and waits until the guy catches her. By the time she was getting squeezed I was already too far out of the film to care anymore. I get that people get afraid but this is a trained professional who is supposedly an expert in her field. Very poor for what began as a good film.
Yeah this was one of those, "Character behaves in the most stupidest way imaginable, but we have to believe it in order for the plot to continue the way its supposed to" moments. A little harder to swallow than most, but eerily similar to the person who's not being believed by someone else, who somehow forgets how to use words in order to be convincing. Just acts like a deer in headlights, stammering and stuttering out some crap while being pounded into the ground.
Use your words, you idiot, TELL THEM WHAT YOU SAW, IT WASN'T A DREAM, SAY SOMETHIIIIIING!! Or...just go to the asylum, I guess. Apparently the plot requires you to be committed.
Yes I agree. Sometimes the writer thinks he has to make people do or say stupid things to advance the plot.
It's sloppy writing.

That is an excellent point and a plot hole! Good work xfool!
