Hedwigs dance means something

Looks like personalities struggling and/or the beast emerging

In an interview, Night said it was to symbolize the death of a person who then returns as a zombie.

Thanks

It wasn't Night, it was James McAvoy who said he wanted to give a backstory to the dance, and came up with the "zombie apocalypse" scenario. http://www.popsugar.com/entertainment/James-McAvoy-Dance-Sequence-Split-43041193

There was one woman in the cinema laughing during the dance. Everyone else was silent. I was so creeped out by it!

I was laughing, not big, out-loud laughing, but laughing. Hedwig is a child and children do weird stuff, especially when they're trying to prove to you that that they're grown-up.

I wasn't creeped out by it nor did I laugh. I just appreciated the dance lol. Dude had the moves. As in, not at all, but it was fun to watch him dance and be so into it. Probably one of the film's more memorable moments.

That scene was something else. I'm curious to see James really cut a rug on the dance floor.

Be something, do something, feel something

People should check out the dance done by the Ralph Fiennes character in "A Bigger Splash."

The most creepiest dance is from "Calvaire", the scene in the cafe! Yikes, gives me the heebie-jeebies!
