I know this is old but I rewatched it again recently. I am all for giving people opportunities but that choir performance was very average. That happened before at times in churches and you're sitting there wondering why they were chosen to sing lol. They made it like she was selected for her talents so it was really underwhelming.

Really? What happened here lol? Not trying to be harsh or anything I just think she could have done better or they should have coached her on singing here. I've seen people with non- church choir type voices that did well with choirs in the background. Even if he voice wasn't really a fit for it she should still be able to sound well I'm my opinion. I've seen traditional choirs sing gospel songs really well. I think it's just the singer more than anything.
