Does anyone feel Grace is a hypocrite? Spoilers ahead

If you haven't seen episode 8 as yet, please do not read on.

How do you feel about Grace sleeping with Noah. Grace is pursuing vindication against Mac for the molestations he has supposedly done. I get that due to her sister's suicide. But now the high and mighty Grace has gone and slept with Noah, and told him she loves him while she's about to have sex with him. She knows he's about to get married. In fact, her own mother is taking care of the wedding.

Another thing. I blame her for the supposed death of David Nelson. The guy was leaving to go to Delaware. She pushed him and pushed him to stay. She came back to fight for vindication of what happened in her past and she felt that she should encourage him to stay to do the same, and now the guy got killed. She can't seem to leave well alone. As her mother said, seems she came to do all but burn the house down. Why can't she leave things alone?

Now she's going after the secretary too and the secretary's daughter. When will it all end? She needs to look closer at her house. Something is going on with her father's house. Her sister's husband is on the verge of being seen as gay. Her daughter is hanging out with her cousin who smokes weed. Things are going on and she needs to deal with all that and stop meddling and now fornicating with a soon to be we man. And she just preached last week! Hell. What drama! lol

Grace sleeping with Noah was a lapse in judgement. I forsee Noah not going through the wedding tho. Mac needs punishment and if the whole church goes down so be it

She is not a Hypocrite but human, what I don't like is people like Noah and Isabel that put these fake facades up. From day one you can clearly see the love leaking among the two, even her daughter saw it. Now I don't condone cheating but to me I feel like she was fighting for her love.If he was married that will be a different story. Why would anyone want to marry someone that wasn't truly in love with them. Isabel know Noah didn't love her like the way love Gigi and you cant hide that. What Grace should have done is went to the altar about Noah. Noah loves Gigi. Things should not be and I feel in situation like this you have to speak your mind. No women or men wants to be with someone who truly doesnt love them deeply.Noah is not in love with Isabel and She know this. Why would a woman want to marry a man that doesn't love her. What Gigi and Noah have is real and you can't hide that. I'm not saying it was right but you have to fight for the one you love. Many people put up this fake facade. Noah was doing it too because it look good but deep down his heart was with Gigi. The way he look at GIGi is deep love, he look at Isabel like a friend or out of conscience. He didn't love her.

what I don't like is people like Noah and Isabel that put these fake facades up.

Isabel is so insecure I sort of feel like she willed Noah to sleep with Gigi. Then when she found it happened, it was her escape.

You sound like a romantic novel, Period piece....True love, being human, fighting for her love,{really} are the usual clichés viewers use when the woman simply acted like trash. No convictions, No real class. She is aware he is engaged but didn't care. He knew he made a commitment two another woman and broke it even before he is married.

How do you really know or think how his fiancé feels. Her love for him may seem misguided to you but as far as the character goes, so what he loved another woman, you the viewer can't determine how it's supposed to be different with someone he had in the past. If this were true no one would get married.

You Say... I'm not saying it was right but you have to fight for the one you love Cheating on your fiancé and sleeping with a man you know is engaged is not anything even close to real love. Sneaking around like rats is no way to be real with anyone.

Please don't take this stuff as a dig at you personally but your stuff is just way to cliché.

I may sound like a romantic novel. But he doesn't love Isabel the way he love Gigi period. Not that true deep passionate love. Isabel knew this that's why she wanted to moved. If their love was solid she shouldn't feel threaten to leave. Noah propose to Isabel again because it was convienient and it looked good. It's a situation that Noah grew to love Isabel but wasn't in love with her. That is a dangerous place to be because look what Noah did to Isabel. Shouldn't settle for mediocre love. We can agree to disagree.

You Say.... Not that true deep passionate love. Isabel knew this that's why she wanted to moved.

If you feel most men actually feel/think this kind of nonsense then I won't stop you. The one thing I have learned is you can never tell a romantic that most guys just are that deep. Yes we do feel love but oh my god with you romantics every thing about relationships is like reading poetry/poems.

You Say..... It's a situation that Noah grew to love Isabel but wasn't in love with her. . I think I have read this a thousand times as if other people can feel and understand exactly what that character is going through.

I do admire your DIME STORE NOVELS quotes and favorite lines. I do feel your heart is pure in believing in this stuff so you continue to do as you do.

How many people married the wrong person and shortly realize this. Better these situations before making a mistake. Sometimes to get it right bad things happen.Isabel is a nice girl but not for Noah. I don't condone cheating but it happens. Better now than in marriage, cheating is wrong in marriage or engaged but Weddings are called off all the time so better now that you know you heart is not with the women than later in marriage.Noah was looking at Gigi pictures before she came to him. Shouldn't he be preparing for his marriage with Isabel. The fire between Isabel and Noah isn't there. The way he look

Grace is not behaving like a hypocrite.However,she is a violator of the spiritual mantra of "Get the mote out of your own eye". Unfortunately, believers tend to ignore Matthew 7:1: Judge not lest ye be judge.

Grace has never acted saintly. If you recall on the first episode she mentioned how she was just spiritual not religious and wasn't perfect. She tried to distance herself from it but she wanted to stay And her dad gave her that role. David is a grown man And could have easily just left. Grace wasn't pushing him to stay for no reason. She didn't want that incident to ruin his life forever so she wanted him to stay And fight. You're right. If She hadn't pushed him to stay he may not have been there but who's to stay it still wouldn't have happened? Some crazy person did it not her. And. how would Grace find out about that other stuff happening in her faLily when it isn't out in the open? What Grace did was a lapse in judgement. Grace has never acted perfect or saved and sanctified which is one of the reason why her mother and her brother's wife don't like her. She is the black sheep of the family. She is simply trying to find the truth and right the wrongs of her past. Would you rather uncle Mac not be brought to justice? She's trying to help them not hurt them. And it's not that they think he's gay he is gay lol which is the reason for the long hours at the gym. What Grace did was wrong and she knows that. Her father makes her seem perfect not Grace. Grace has never walked around like she's perfect at all.

Lol your so funny : ). I think most men do or can feel that way but they were taught at an earlier age to suppress it. They can be that deep. Some men go with the flow and do what the lady says to keep her happy. Isabel and Noah relationship was dry and mediocre. Sorry I'm such a romantic and sound like a repeated love novel : ) I wouldn't have it any another way.

There is a quote somewhere that say unless it is mad passionate extraordinary love, it is waste of time. There are too many things in life medicore. Love should not be one of them.

I may not know exactly what the characters are feeling but I based it of logic and my perception. It is my perception from what you say I guess the romanticism point of view. We can look at the same picture and see different things. From your stance you seem to be thinking more in a logical point of view. Doesn't make it right or wrong. Also people's perception on a particular idea, many times is constructed by how you were raise. That's another subject. The way I see things may not be the way you see things, As I said before doesn't make it right or wrong.However when it comes to love sometimes you have to throw logical out the window. Too many people are living a lifeless life because of logic thinking but again that's another subject. You probably cringing at my romantic novel words but hey I am romanticist right? : ) can you blame me. : )

And funny you say this its like reading poetry I am a poet in real life : ) Our different in opinions is the beauty and art of debate.
