After episode 3 I'm giving up.

It's a real shame the writing in this show is so poor. Completely unrealistic over-emotional behaviour from the crew.
It's as if they've sent a bunch of reformed alcoholics or drug addicts to Mars to work through their emotional turmoil. They're all bloody unstable.
Concealing injuries, almost giving up due to a death, nearly coming to blows in a fall-out over equipment.
It's filmed well, nice effects and sets, just terribly written.
I really can't be bothered to continue watching a soap opera on Mars after episode 3.

I'll probably watch every episode.

Agree totally. All the docu-commentary is badly mis-placed and over-used. There's little action on Mars itself. And what action there is is nothing short of a bad soap. What are they trying to do here? If it's making a fun sci-fi drama...FAIL! Or to make an in-advance historically accurate dramatic depiction of a mission to mars...FAIL! Nothing makes sense making it boring and unwatchable.

Yup stopping with this as well.
