shareBut if they were trying to accent the dangers of the mission, then they should have had the commander die a Martian death. (Dying of problems caused by exposure to the dangers of living on Mars. Instead, he dies because of a glitch he was trying to fix in the space ship. He dies a dumb death, unrelated to the conditions that have to be faced in Mars, which would be a lot more interesting.
