Post-op stroll?

Hang on, I spent two weeks in bed unable to sit up unaided after my splenectomy because they cut through the abdominal muscle wall. And didn't they cut through his EVA suit to operate? Suspension of disbelief yes, but come on people.

Oh it was a dying dream. I continued watching after pausing it in a huff. That'll teach me to be a know-all. Apologies

reply

I was clear to me that it was a dream.

I'm with you. This was going to be my last episode until I thought Savage was dreaming. I was a surprised at first that they killed him off, but it highlights the danger the commentators hammered on during the show.

reply

I didn't think it was a dream either. The guy is awful... it didn't surprise me at all. It being a dream did surprise me.

But if they were trying to accent the dangers of the mission, then they should have had the commander die a Martian death. (Dying of problems caused by exposure to the dangers of living on Mars. Instead, he dies because of a glitch he was trying to fix in the space ship. He dies a dumb death, unrelated to the conditions that have to be faced in Mars, which would be a lot more interesting.
