Paper record keeping?

I don't think that there would be any paper for journals, record keeping or anything else.
Everything would be digital. As "advanced" as everything is supposed to be, the weight and volume that paper entails would prohibit just about any paper being brought on the mission.

Perhaps, but some people are artists and feel the need to express themselves on paper or other non digital media. I would never give up drawing and doodling.

Paper is and will be, even in a high tech environment as in 2037 on Mars a good, easy and safe way to take notes or keep a journal. Of course weight is a big disadvantage but the advantages are imo much bigger.

Well, how much paper do you think they would bring? And since they have a limited payload what do you think they would leave behind?

It''s kind of like music. They could bring nearly every song known to man on a thumb drive or two. But if somebody prefers to hear their music on vinyl they should bring old LPs?

See episode 5. Power is also a problem. So paper is reliable.

As you said, see Ep 4, in Antarctica. Paper notes. Why? It's reliable. In all environments.
