Most Boring Show Ever

Not only the most boring show but the most politically correct piece of crap on TV.

Is your remote broke?

reply

My remote works fine. I just keep expecting that something on Nat Geo would be better than crap like this I would expect to see on SYFY.

reply

So you also think The Expanse is crap because SyFy made that.

reply

Your tv only has one channel?

reply

It does suck, most intensely! There's an obvious reason why IMDb doesn't allow voting on this show. Because they know what they're going to get.

Hey, having a cast that represents the populace is great! But, couldn't they actually hire actors who seem to have a pulse? You would hope that brining ethnic diversity would mean people who aren't as bland as the whitest of white people. But, that can't happen, for some strange reason.

Add to that, the terminally boring script and direction (such as they are). And, the disappointment that this is Executive Produced by Ron Howard, whose best work are his docudramas, like "Apollo 13" and "Rush."

We get it, you don't like the show.

reply

Not the most boring show ever, but it is very slow. And its PC is INSUFFERABLE!

Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar and doesn't.

reply

Yeah, I hear you. That's what I thought of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
This seems fake, but somehow I stick it out ... and I am not even sure why
except as a kid I used to like this colonizing the solar system stuff.

I realize they have to make the show dramatic, but there is not that much
that is dramatic about space fight, and they do not want there to do either.

I realize it is poltically correct, but that is a byproduct of the fact that we human
beings had better get working and living with each other down or we are not
going to survive. That is always shown to some extent in Science Fiction
series about the future.

I have personally witnessed home movies with more gravitas and better acting. I gave this thing 4-1/2 episodes to get my real attention, but am presently in the process of removing it all from my DVR (wish I could do the same with my memory)

Only my opinion - if some of you out there like it, OK by me...just stop defending it as some wonderful piece of film. The ratings appear to be bogus in the extreme.

reply

Yes, it is a little slow paced and a litle too much drama. Would love to see a little more actual science in it. But I still think it is made very well and for me it is much better than a lot of the other series aired nowadays.

reply

Nope. I love it very much but yes, it has some really boring moments. Anyway, I expected to see those "boring moments". That's why I didn't have problems with it
