S2 - where did Maggie (Ginger Gonzaga) go?

I watched S1 when it aired, but then didn't have Showtime when S2 first came out. I'm catching up now and halfway through the season.

Where did Maggie go? I haven't heard any mention of her, but don't remember her leaving. IMDB indicates she was in all 10 S1 episodes but none of S2. Was there any explanation?

Saw that she did make an appearance in S2 episode 9 for the Fitzy's wake. Was good to see her again, hanging out with Ron, but I wish she'd been a part of the whole season.
