Hellraiser meets Silent Hill

Populated with wet, slimy nastiness and so much raw dripping meat, here comes Baskin, director Can Evrenol’s horrific sightseeing tour through Hell. That’s Hell with capital H, as Baskin ventures out of the normal world into one of suffering and torture. Notable for being a rare horror offering courtesy of Turkish cinema, Baskin owes a great deal to the Hellraiser franchise as chains rattle, flesh tears and mysterious robed figures unleash wordy diatribes. But whereas Hellraiser was (initially) about the mingling of pleasure and pain, Baskin opts for all pain all the time: http://www.cutprintfilm.com/reviews/baskin/
