Wow, very impressed with this film..

I actually only came across this film by luck. The teenage daughter in the final segment, was recently in that movie Dementia. I cross referenced her name, and I saw this..Like the good horror fan I am, I quickly jumped on this. From the get go, the movie kept me captivated. Honestly, I don't think I really messed around with my phone at all.. Easy 8/10

me too, and it was very fun to debate meaning with my roommates

None of the stories had ANY meaning whatsoever, this impressed you? Its like hearing a joke without the punchline. Terrible waste of time.

Compared to half the other bs out there, this was fun enough. Since I went into it with absolutely no expectations, I can say I was impressed. I've seen plenty of huge budget horror films not make A point in the end. Not having to really delve too far into something, is half the fun at 2:30am. I'm not trying to rattle my brain, while going to sleep at night. So, as far as entertainment goes, I had fun thus me being impressed.. Don't get me wrong, I love smart horror films, and there is plenty of them out there. That said, I didn't expect that from this, so I took it for what it's worth.. As far as your joke simile goes. I love anti jokes, so jokes without a punchline, don't really bother me much. *beep* snob

I agree with you, this was a fun horror movie.

I'm not sure I understand the people who say this movie was all over the place...it is a freaking ANTHOLOGY!!!! And most anthologies are all over the place. Remember the old Creepshows? The Creepshows made no attempt to connect storylines. However, Southbound not only connected the storylines, but placed the characters in a consistent holding pattern or purgatory. Shocker people...the theme is purgatory.

Interesting, movie...glad I watched it. Great score too!

and even more awesome: (SPOILER!) the story is an infinite loop. how cool is that?

@loki242

I just posted the EXACT same thing! "A joke without a punchline" is pretty much how I feel about this movie! And it started out as such a funny joke too..... Oh well....it's still not the WORST horror movie I've seen in a long time!

Why are we so attached to needing a story line? It was all over the place and crazy which is exactly how they wanted us to feel. Feels like a few episodes of the Twilight Zone mashed up

that's impossible.

You’re impossible.

And I said stop talking to dead people!
