Candidates should not be so surprised all the time (spoiler)

If "the Process is the most important thing in the world" people would go out of their way to contact those eliminated and talk to them about it. And since people can get eliminated (or give up) right after they are told the truth about the Founding Couple and the secret about life on the Offshore, everything that was not made up at the last minute by Ezequiel would be public knowledge. That's the main criticism I have, that characters look surprised upon discovering things they should already know, for instance: people commit suicide for being disqualified, people are killed accidently or otherwise, people get reunited with their families and a cash prize is offered to those who quit and, above all, that the Process isn't fair at all.

I could see some flashbacks of a guy training with cubes and training to reply the interviews. So something is common knowledge. But as you can see they are compeled to never remember and comment to easy the trauma.

Fair enough, but they would also try to help friends and family and rumours would spread, I think. Especially about it being unfair.

People are made to believe the cost of revealing anything will be the disqualification of their entire family from ever being chosen for the process. That's a pretty big motivation to keep quiet. And the process changes with directors, with time, and even within the normal "challenges" at the whim of TPTB.

Sterilization is literally the last step in the Process. I think we're supposed to assume that no one makes it that far and then decides that their need to have kids is greater than life on the Offshore.

We saw in the first episode that the guy that ended up killing himself had all the interview questions memorized, so the eliminated do talk. Unfortunately, that won't help you in the Process because they're looking for originality.

I'm not sure how many of the eliminated that survived being locked in the basement would actually want to talk about it.

And she acted like I was teaching her about everything.
