Probably my favorite after the Bad Boys II...and I came in wanting to hate it
I wanna start off stating that I hated the 3rd movie to the point where I didn't want to see any sequel after it. I wasn't buying the adulation from the critics but after a few people in my family highly recommended it, I decided to give it a go. A few reused plot points from the 2nd movie but didn't mind it too much...it worked. Martin's kind of a fat, dopey ass at this point but for some reason it worked here and he seems to have embraced it. Will does a great job here and thankful he didn't mail it in. Overall I was glad I saw this in theaters before it hit streaming. The cinematography was impressive enough to justify the price of admission. I personally still long for Bay's cinematography in Bad Boys II though; it was peak amongst all 4 imo. So far my favorite popcorn flick of the summer.
