Mission 7

From What I'm hearing, Cruise has some pretty big ideas for the next installment (maybe Hunt and co will go into space, but that's unlikely, unless Cruise does some space training before hand), sure Lane could come back either to go after Hunt a third time or act as a Hannibal Lector type of villain, but I'd like to see a new villain to face Hunt and co with a new agenda, and we haven't seen the end of the Apostles, I'd like to see Sloane and the White Widow back, I'd like to William Brandt (Jeremy Renner) return either in action or a the new field director of the IMF (optional). It seems that Julia's story has been wrapped up and Hunt has moved on to Ilsa. It would be nice to have one or a few new team members alongside Hunt, Luther, Benji and Ilsa to keep the series fresh, but at the same time this is Cruise's franchise. For the release I'd say 2021, even if the studio want to make this one before Cruise pushes 60, unless he wants to do this forever.

Eventually Cruise is gonna want to do something space related with a future installment. If it doesn’t happen in the next one, it’s gonna happen someday (maybe). How else can he possibly outdo himself? Lol. But of course, he somehow always manages to raise the bar even higher. I mean, he’s learning how to fly jet engines for the Top Gun sequel! Wow...

At any rate, whatever big ideas Tom has planned for Mission 7, I definitely look forward to seeing more of these movies providing they keep the quality up, keep surprising and, sure, continue to raise the stakes. Cruise clearly isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
