The interviews

The movie is stunning, impressive and quite shocking. Even for someone, who followed all the events which happened here in the not too far past.

I think most of the interviewed people were good choices and wisely picked, but I had some issues:

-It was a real missed opportunity not to get at least one person from the police side. That Berkut people would not be open for this is clear, but I'm talking about the normal riot police, which were sent in the front line and you could see their faces on the footage. You could see on their faces, that they don't want to be there, but they have no choice. It wasn't really them, who were unleashing the violence towards the protesters. Even with a hidden face or something, it would've given this movie a much deeper retroperspective. Or if they tried and nobody wanted to talk, they could write this at the end of the movie

-The 12 year old revolution kid. Had mixed feelings on him. On the one hand it was interesting (and sad) to see a THAT young child in the middle of this, but for my taste he was given a too big spotlight. Sometimes it felt he liked doing this war game and wanted to present himself as a hero. And we were all kids, we loved telling x+10 when the real event was just an X. I'm not accusing him of telling lies or something, I just rather prefered another adults story on the events. It was uncomfortable to watch him, but I guess that was the point
