I generally don't go to "true life story" movies, as most of what is on screen is often not true.

I decided to finally take a gander at it in December of 2017.

It was okay. Some of the war scenes were pretty intense. Though, I completely lost all interest after they introduced a love story. I don't know if this happened to the real Megan Leavey, but it just felt forced.

If it wasn't for Kate Mara, I think I would have skipped it. "War Machine" (2017) was a hell of a lot more entertaining, even though it was driven politically.

This one gets a 5/10.
