I love the original trilogy, ending and all. It's my favorite game series and one of my favorite science fiction stories and universes in general. I'm a bit skeptical though. People keep leaving the development team.

My prediction is that the ship in the teaser is an "ark" of sorts. A precautionary measure in the event that the Reapers were unable to be stopped. Representatives of all the species as well as many of the tops in their fields being sent to the Andromeda galaxy to start anew. This allows them to bypass the ending choice. Which normally I would cite as a cop out, but in this case I get it. Each of those endings leaves a vastly different universe to be accounted for. A separate game would need to be made for each ending to account for that level of variance.

I like the claims that they are making the focus on exploration and from the sounds of it, the customization of the ship will be detailed as well. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us at E3.

After hundreds of hours playing all 3 games, I'm really hoping for some new species to deal with. I've got to say, I'm kind of tired of the same old species.

People leaving the development team is never a good sign. It also most likely why the game was pushed back to 2017. I'm fine with them not releasing the game until it's a really good game. I think ME 3 really suffered from them rushing the game out the door despite their one delay. I'd rather they pretend the events in ME 1, 2, and 3 have never been heard of and they can go from there.

I am really looking forward to E3 this year. I can't wait to see what they have in store when it comes to this game.

I saw a detailed timeline for Andromeda the other day, which laid out that the project had been on the go for several years even before ME1 began...

Events unfolded as the trilogy progressed, and apparently, the Asari councilor hinted at it in 3, with the mention of 'continuity of civilisation' after Thessia fell. According to the timeline; the mission was launched as the final battle for Earth commenced & it looked like we'd lose; so the new game will not be influenced by the final stage of ME3...

I remember the days when Kardashians were just the bad guys on Star Trek!

Didn't she say that during the conversation she had with Shep while Shep was apologizing for losing Thessia? That really bugged me. I wanted Shep to scream at the councilor, "If you had only revealed the secret to Thessia earlier, WE COULD HAVE SAVED THE PLANET!!" I know Shep assumed s/he could save the universe because that's the way s/he rolls, but come on! Screaming at the imbeciles who help destroy their own worlds out of sheer STUPIDITY, and the need to be number 1 in the universe over all other species, is a great stress reliever!

Launching a mission as the final battle was commencing is..what a cool idea! And something that makes sense to do because holy cow, we are smarter than the average 5th grader after all.

I really could use some new species, though. I really am tired of the same old guys, no matter how much I loved the characters. My fault, I guess. No one told me to spend hundreds of hours playing all 3 games for years. Oh well. I've got to do something to keep my mind sharp during retirement. 
