Anyone catch it right at the beginning? Could they possibly be setting up a Mask of the Phantasm remake/reboot? I love the original and it will always be one of my favorites but if they remade it with this new animation I would be so excited to see that, plus it would be a great excuse to finally make a blu ray for the original.

shareI wouldn't want a full remake (the original is perfect), but I would love to see the Phantasm again in some form. I'm honestly surprised they've never even used the character in the regular DC comic continuity.

yeah, they probably won't remake it as there are too many new characters that they would have to incorporate into the story, but I agree I would love to see at least Phantasm in a story again.
