So, she got into the safe by guessing the sound of the chimes?

Remember when they first checked into the resort as husband and wife and got into their room? She was looking around for a minibar as he was putting stuff in the small safe. Later in the episode, she gets into the safe to get the car keys to leave. How did she know the combo? She didn't see him enter it (she was too busy looking for a drink) and it definitely wasn't left open.

She heard the tones from when he opened it with her back turned. It's a plot device to show how "McGyver" she is.

My in-wall gun safe is similar to what they showed and it makes an identical sound every time the buttons are pushed, although it is now set to "no-sound" as it should be from the factory.
