How did he locate her at the motel?

I can't for the life of me figure out how Javier even found Letty at the end of episode one. He busts into her motel room and she even asks him how he found her and he says because she is a junkie and he isn't or something like that. I get he means he is smart and she is messy due to drug use but do we have any idea how he found her at all?

He's a professional hitman, we're supposed to assume that he has his ways of tracking someone down.

She did reveal that she was hiding in the closet of his room and overheard everything. She had to have had a master key for that, so his first clue would be to find out who was working at the hotel's reception that same day, and take it from there.

That's what I'd guess. It wouldn't take much for him to track the vehicle, get her name from the hotel's front desk, and run a criminal background check.
