2 questions for anyone who saw episode 1

1. She told the person on the phone who got her into the rooms she stole from that she left the master key and something else in the room. What was the something else?

And

2. Who was the guy who got her into the rooms? Does she have a partner who works at the hotel or did I miss a scene?

reply

Question one: I think it was some sort of card. And the guy, paid killer, picked it up and has it. She didn't get it back when she picked him up and slept with him because she was more concerned with saving Daphne's life.

Question 2 I don't know who the guy was who she was working for who got her into all those rooms. But now she is working for a killer.

I have a question. Have there only been two shows so far. I missed the first one and had to download it. Now I have episode two taping. Is this a brand new series on its first season. I am confused.

reply

Yes. It is season one. Tv debut tonight on TNT. Two eps back to back.

reply

Thank you. We watched. Still not sure who helped her get into those hotel rooms on the first episode. Either she worked alone or she had help. Now she is working for a paid killer. Not willingly.

The bartender slipped her a napkin when she orders a drink. The master card is hidden under it, and the backside of the napkin has the room numbers written on it. Next we see her memorize the room numbers and dissolve the piece of paper in her drink. At least two were in on it I think, the guy at the front desk and the bartender.

The card WAS the master key.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

reply

She paid off the desk clerk to get her into the rooms. BTW, the clerk looked like Blake Crouch a little, I wonder if it was him.

reply

You didn't miss anything. Neither was explained. I thought she had a partner too, but we never see him. It may be just the paid off front clerk.

I worked in a large resort, master keys are all logged and assigned to who checked them out, only by security. When you clock in and when you clock out . Also if a key goes missing or you lost it, ALL the masters are thrown out and they have to make new ones.
Also those locks on the doors are smart, they keep Track of which keys used it. But whatever I guess we can just assume that the bartender knew someone in security. Lol

What was the something else?
I think she meant the 50000 dollars she saw being handed over when she was hiding in the closet. She couldn't say that to the guy she paid off because then she'd have to share. She couldn't just say that only the master key was left behind, because that wouldn't warrant a return of herself to the room. So she just said "something else"; a lie to get back in the room and get the money.

Who was the guy who got her into the rooms?
A guy she paid off or is working with regularly whenever she's near that specific hotel I guess.

1) I don't think she really left anything in the room.I think she needed to get into the room to find out who the victim of the hit was going to be so she could help her, and she didn't have the master key card she had dropped. She didn't need the actual card. They had the killer pick it up so she couldn't grab it as she made her escape.

2) The bartender at the hotel slipped her the card and the room numbers to break into. She probably has a few of these hotel employees in her back pocket who work with her for a cut of the money.

reply

She said she left something in the room AND lost the master key

More questions:

Where did she get the $ to pay the bartender, etc? Credit cards she stole from the jerk at the dive diner (her ex-employer)?

When she's in the closet, the camera freezes on a leather folio next to Javier. I thought that was what she was referencing when she said she left something in the room, but maybe it's Javier's Why the focus on that item?

reply

I don't think it is supposed to matter who Letty was working with in the hotel.
