The Boring Son
Hopefully we're done with him for a while ... : /
shareHopefully we're done with him for a whileThere's no "we're" in my opinion. For a TV kid, the kid has a juicy role. It's written well, and does it well. His main purpose is that he grounds Letty who otherwise would be in the wind.
philly,
You are entitled to your opinion. But I also do not find the son to be the best part of the show. Not sure whether it is the direction, the acting or the writing. But the net effect is a bit thin.
What are you reading? No one here called him the best part of the show.
May you receive all that Karma has to offer.

I liked him more after last night's ep. So far, he'd just been this kind of blank slate, your basic 'cute kid'. But I like that you are starting to see Letty's influences on him and how adept he is at lying and stealing at the drop of a hat just like her.

Yeah, but that's something of a problem, imo. How is that coming about? Genes? Hard to argue it's his upbringing. So instead is it that his knowledge to the extent he has it is supposed to be sufficient inspiration to follow in his mother's footsteps as it were? I think that's a bit thin, and it and several other questions about episode 6 are my first real concerns about this show.
Agreed. His storyline is just dull. I know it's supposed to add depth to Dockery's character, but everything about him is just boring.
Why are they wasting screentime on him :(
I'm more interested in Javier's family, even though I don't expect much from them.
