She shouldn't get her son back

Has she stayed sober more than one episode? There hasn't even been a ruling yet and she decides to handle her hardship by getting drunk and sleeping with a man she has called "pure evil." She has bad judgement and can't stay sober a more than a day or 2. No way she should be looking after a child.

I totally agree.

If she genuinely loves her son she will leave him with his grandmother. And hightail it out of town.Again. Visit. Call. Text. Email. Face Time. But not be a full-time presence in his life. She is unfit.

And there is no way Sean should be a part of his life either.

The poor kid lost the parental lottery.

THIS ^

But she doesn't. That kid is an extension of her ego. She's a narcissist.

We have no actual evidence that Sean is a bad guy. All we have is Letty's belief that he has not changed. He has more of a right to the kid then the grandmother or mother does.

reply

I certainly hope not.
There's nothing more boring that I can imagine than to watch Letty get straight and settle down and try to play full time Mom to Jacob.

reply

Totally agree if she really loves him she should have given that speech at the hearing but said that her mom was the best guardian for him and she wants to be part of his life but obviously he should stay with Estelle, not she wants a chance to be his mom and have full custody.

Also for the advocate to ask Jacob if he wants to live with his dad when he has just met him, never spent any time with him and has never even been to his house seemed a little crazy.

Anyone who really thinks about Jacob's best interest would have to conclude he stays with Estelle for now. Wouldn't they need to do some checking on Sean, even perhaps DNA even though Letty did agree he is the father, would have least bought her a few days. I get you have to dismiss some plot holes but this whole custody thing happened really fast. Also the whole FBI thing figuring out about Javier was way over due. I love Javier but he is really quite sloppy as a hit man how he has not been caught yet is amazing especially since he seemed to travel all the time and now he keeps showing up in Letty's hometown and certainly stands out quite a bit including taking a local's bike after a bar altercation, you think no one would be questioning where he came from and what his story is?

agreed

"sleeping with a man she has called "pure evil."

And that she wanted Javier to kill him, does not make any sense, the writers have failed in this.

Tha grandmother is not much better. Actually shes worse. Thats in my own opinion. Letty yes shes a professional thief but I think she's doin alot better. Js.

My thoughts exactly.

I agree. It's probably the weakest arc in the entire series. But that's what happens when the main protagonist is so broken.
