Could a hit man run from the FBI?

They have his photo and dark web handle. He can't make money from that anymore (unless establish new handle)

They probably have his name.

He would be all over the top 10 lists and news. Doesn't seem possible.

BTW, FBI shouldn't have to do sting to catch him in act. They should have enough from the couple murder to just arrest him

Agreed..

Given my other issues with the writing and plot, I am somewhat reluctant to defend the notion that the FBI might well have felt they could use the sting operation to get Javier. But the case in the first episode on which their investigation was based, I should say apparently based but that is what the show referred to, would likely have been mostly about forensic evidence that may not have been that great. The photos for example do not really show who did what. So a sting successfully pulled off would have made the case against Javier much stronger.

Agree that they may not have the best evidence yet (although there should be multiple security cameras throughout the show- at the hotel, at the stores, him making a big deal about the type of gloves to the store woman). I do not have too many issues with the sting.

Biggest question is now what? Are they forever on the run with a 10 year old boy? Guess he won't go to school anymore.

The only way to hold this family unit together as a practical matter is to somehow leave the country and find a new life. Sure they could try to stay on the run after much plastic surgery and the like. But imo that is not realistic.

For me the show not only failed to offer a plausible answer in that regard, but several others including why Javier should accept that Letty had sex with Sean. Is that not a big one? There were a number of others.

Just too implausible trying to arrive at a happy ending.

I don't understand why they didn't swoop in on him when he was at the DMV getting his second Range Rover Sport's license plates, or when he was printing out his instant proof of insurance from the General at the local Apple store.
Or at the Range Rover dealership (of which there seem to be many in the rural Carolinas) when he bought a $68,000 car with a briefcase full of cash. Of course dealers never would have to report such a transaction to the IRS either.

The feds will surely make life a living hell for Estelle & Rob.

I think he accepted the tryst because he knows that she does bad things to herself when she's overwhelmed. He knew how scared she was and that it was the same impulse as if she'd gone looking for drugs.

I don't know about most people, but I think your girlfriend having sex with another man is not on the same level of seriousness as having too much to drink or taking drugs. To be clear I think it is much worse.

It seems unrealistic to me that this new family dynamic could have any kind of stability if they're constantly on the run. Letty wouldn't do that to her son. So I think maybe there will be a solution next season. Something happens so they're not on the run - something like some government agency (maybe a dark part of the FBI) decides they need a hitman. You work for us now or you go to prison. Just a thought.
