shareI suppose on balance I think it a good thing it was renewed, but they need to fix the inconsistent writing. And on a thematic level, perhaps intentionally, they seem to go back and forth between toying with redemption for Letty and just letting the dynamic play out between two people who are, objectively, at least somewhat sociopathic.
The custody part, which I did not like, was totally in the redemption category, and ended up leading to a very problematic season one resolution. They have to, I think, make a choice on that in season 2. If they just seek to extend the custody fight, and make it continue to be a huge part of the narrative, that is not the way to go, imo.
