Love the movie but this was boring as s**t

I was disappointed with it as well. Not necessarily because it was boring, I just couldn't get into it. I was a fan of the books and the film, but this just didn't keep my interest. I also thought some of the acting was questionable at times and just made me kinda bummed considering how cool the story does get and it deserves an adaptation done right.

Strange. I enjoyed the movie, but enjoyed the show WAY more.

I think this show is very entertaining.

ETA: I actually just watched the movie because of this post, and compared to the series it sucks major ass! You can't adopt thirteen books (or however many were out at the time) into an hour and half and do it well!

And I felt sorry for the actors who didn't have enough screen time to actually do anything with their roles. Why did they even need an actor of Dustin Hoffman's caliber for that 90-second appearance?

Oh well.
