Oh, crap, I didn't mean to spoil it for you. I keep the last 2 episodes on DVR until I see the new episode, so I'm gonna rewatch right now.
share(SPOILER)- His CD that he played on her laptop (The one with local Blue Grass on it) had a program that stole her log-in information- he went logged i and found some incriminating emails re: Matt Myers. He sent said email to the Newspaper. Big problem- for Hailey, Coal Co and Matt/Governor. Gordon is still fighting to run the Coal Co. off and save the Mountain.
Not Hailey's week.
I'd rewatched it again before watching last week's episode (Ep 29) and still didn't 'get' what Gordon did with the CD (like you said). I thought the DVR had skipped the part where he had gotten into her laptop to send the email. Durrr me... So thank you, Nuthin_Snooty.
