My July 12 fights review (spoilers)

I was surprised Witchdoctor won but it was a good fight.

No surprise with Tombstone it's a killer and Radioactive's hammer looks ineffective as a weapon and it's made out of plastic, WTF!

Lockjaw vs Overhaul, That was a boring fight and disappointing. I don't like Overhaul, I hope it goes up against Tombstone and is annihilated.

Bite Force vs Hypershock, Looked like something was wrong before the match started. That weapon only worked for a few seconds. Do they have an area to test everything before getting in the ring? Also, I wonder if those magnets on treads really help. Didn't look like it to me, anyone know?

Most important, a recap at the end that was just a good recap and not 10 minute filler.

They matched her up with the weakest of the top seeds and with a type of robot that she had a decent chance of beating. I think she'll get wrecked by Tombstone.

I'm not quite sure what happened there. Lockjaw is generally very good and its strength is getting out of tough situations. Yet, somehow, it ran straight into the jaws of Overhaul and that was the end of it.

After watching the fight again I just realized Tombstone has rubber tires. If Witchdoctor improves their driving skills they might have a chance. It would be a huge upset.

One thing I was wondering with the witchdoctor fight. Several times the mini-bot seemed to be spewing out gas without a flame. At first I thought it might have been malfunctioning, but later I thought that maybe it was intentionally trying to soak the tires with gas before it started to light them up further.

I thought it was a malfunction also, but your idea sounds good. If true I have new respect for that team.

reply

I agree. Lifting it off surface might be harder but sliding across surface, not so much.
