Passive weapons were banned from the competition specifically because they're so boring, and what happens in the grand final? Bite Force swaps out its weapon for a big chunk of metal and defeats Tombstone by facetanking it.
sharewell actually bf won because ts is an *beep* for making sure a bot is dead,
ts took out bronco for no reason besides 'showing off' and that self inflicted damage on the battery packs wasn't fixed well.
or he did fix it and the constant stopping of the blade caused it to overload/over heat/short the battery packs (not sure).
ts did immobilise bf by cutting through the scoop and bf was clearly not driving straight, seems to me the 'ref' let it slide for way too long.
then ts seemed to cut it loose and it was mobile again..
also ts should've tried to get around the back of it more, but bf's driving was much better..
Tombstone was all weapon and arrogance. No real maneuverability and until it laid a foolish late hit on Bronco, that plan was working for them.
