They lost about a million viewers since last season, but for a Summer replacement show it might still be enough for a renewal.
Also, since they film the entire thing in a few days, production costs might not be as high as for some of the other shows.
I wouldn't worry too much about that. 3+ million viewers versus the production costs needed to air the season, they'll be ok for now. I'd wager on another season.
But the trend could continue. There's almost no advertisement for the show. I only knew when the season would begin because I was already actively looking for it. They gotta give the show a little more love.
If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.
Is there anything we could do to help promote the show? Could we all "share" their facebook page on our own facebook page?
I have posted when it is on and a few friends who didn't know it was back said they would catch it on torrents. Lets be proactive.
It's been cancelled twice before. It's a contest that goes on regardless if it's on TV or not. Although it won't have the same hosts, it'll be on YouTube. There's literally over 300 match up fights on there already
