Mine has to be "NASA may be headed for Mars, but this bot is headed for Uranus!"

Best line of the series so far!

He did a bunch during the qualifying round that cracked me up but that Uranus one is the best

I wonder who writes these. Does each team submit their own or does the show have a writer to do them all?

I imagine writers come up with them. I doubt the teams come up with their own.

I'm think show writers too. They're pretty consistent with the cheesy puns. It's funny in its own goofy way.

If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.

There have been some good ones, but the Uranus one is best so far.

Faruq Tauheed who does the announcements was on a podcast last year and was asked this exact question. He said they have a great team on Battlebots both in front and behind the cameras and that there's a lot of collaboration, and while there are a lot of things that he comes up with on the fly, he gave the main credit to a guy called David Braun who according to imdb was a co-executive producer on the show for it's first season. Maybe some other producer took that role in the second season or it is just Faruq himself now.
