So obviously the intended audience is
teenagers and hipsters.
"Four friends on their way to Coachella..."
I'll definitely pass on this one.

Teenagers are the intended audience for 95% of all horror films and have been since the 1950's. And you're saying you won't see this movie because of the characters' taste in music, or more precisely, a road-trip destination they'll obviously never reach, and will not be depicted in the film? OK. If I were you, I'd be extra-selective about seeing ANY movie set after 1992, with characters under 35 who are within road-tripping distance to Indio, CA... because even though they may not MENTION Coachella, they may possibly have tickets to the festival that don't figure into the plot, or they might even decide to go at some point after the events of the movie have concluded.
I know I sound like a crackpot, but there IS a sliver of a chance, I mean, MAYBE... I know it's unlikely -- that the filmmakers are poking fun at current teen taste trends and actually share your severe disdain or odd phobia about "hipsters" and the world-famous attractions they stereotypically frequent. This film could actually be COMPLETELY in sync with your own worldview to such a degree that it not only becomes your all-time cinema favorite, but it defines your entire existence and inspires you to limitless creative & spiritual horizons in a way you thought no single motion picture ever could. But you've made up your mind and clearly, there's no turning back.
