I've now watched 2 episodes and the show is ok for me. I'm not saying it's bad, but i find it incredibly slow. Does it ever pick up the pace?? If it continues at this pace i'm not sure i can make it through the whole season.

Bizarrely, I kinda miss it.
No, the pace remains the same but things start to happen. It's not a perfect show by any stretch but I enjoyed it, mostly.
The show started off a little bumpy but I think it really gets better in the middle of the season. It's not breaking bad or the shield where they leave you on the edge of your seat but it's a really well acted show. I'm looking forward to season 2.
