I don't see the Queen, I just see Imelda Staunton
Couldn't they have cast someone better? If only that actress who played the Queen in the Naked Gun movies was still around, she could take Staunton's place!
Everyone saw Dolores Umbridge )))) I guess British filmmakers have to stop thinking that every famous British actor can play every posh British historical figure. Season 5 proved that they cant.
Imelda Staunton doesnt look like royal person. She looks like granny next door. She is too simple. She doesnt have grace and power that Elizabeth resembled. Even Olivia Colman didnt have that and was looking weak and miscast.
Jonathan Pryce was so bad as Phillip as he doesnt have that power that real Phillip had. He was looking like your simple great-grandpa. He should have been played by someone like Charles Dance who played Tywin Lannister.
