Bigger shark in the sequel?
Or will they actually include the Kronosaurs from the second book?

shareKronosaurus was 11m max. Megalodon 18m.
So the 70ft Megalodon would face a 43ft Kronosaurus.
In the book, they were like mutated to larger sizes and hunted in packs.
shareYeah but the books after "Meg" suck imho.
shareOh the Trench was so much fun though! The kronosaurs, the villain being this evul Lex Luthor knockoff, that crazy bisexual henchwoman. It'd be a SyFy movie come to life if they adapt it straight from The Trench.
shareYou're right
shareThe Trench was a painful read. Too much rapey sex and russian espionage straight out of a terrible late 60’s exploitation film, all of which has NOTHING to do with the plot, and the kronosaurus literally doesn’t appear until the last 3 pages. The third book I recall being better, but it was as if Steve Alten discovered sex for the first time and decided inject everything he wrote with “platinum-haired blondes”.
shareThe meg was pulp so I didn't read anything else by steve alten. And the movie was disappointing.
