Just went to the advance screening last night and I was left with more questions than answers...Does anyone else feel this way?

shareThat and many more unanswered questions...[spoiler alert]Was it about immortality?...What were the guests/patients actually providing for their host? What was the purpose of keeping them there and the dehydration...What was that about?
shareSo they were giving the old people the special eel water. The water wasn't good for them though, but the human body purifies it. So when they'd drain the water from the people, it'd produce a potion that'd make you live much longer that all the staff would receive. That one girl was like 200+ and JUST had her first period.
shareAnd it turns out this was a prequel to "Dune"... and this is how they know the process for creating the Kwisatz Hadirac. 😁
But really, the whole notion made me think, "Wait, did they get this idea from that scene in "Dune"?"
